“Some weeks I love this podcast, other weeks I do not. This is mostly because I do not always relate to the "issues" and concerns discussed. I am a middle class person in the midwest and the topics do not always resonate with me. I feel like this comment is going to come across as me seeming like I'm not educated or cultured enough. This isn't the case - I have a doctorate degree and I believe in their liberal agendas, I just find the topics exhausting and not all that applicable to my life most most of the time.
I still remember the week Dan asked an "ethical" question about whether he should intervene when he saw two kids in a parked, locked car on a hot day. Ummm, pretty sure that is not an ethical question, it is dramatically illegal and should have required an immediate intervention. Even on a 70 degree day, the interior of a car can reach a peak temp of 100 degrees within ten to fifteen minutes.
On a plus side, I think the recent talk about saving for college was great!
