“I have listened to this podcast since it started, and every single episode there is at least one moment where I go "ugh" at the smug-self-satisfied ignorant opinions of Dan Kois. The most recent episode where Kois makes the most weaselly non-apology apology for his previous offensive statement really takes the cake. He has no idea where his smug opinions come from! He can't apologize for them because he's not responsible for what comes out of his mouth! The dude is a blight on this otherwise solid podcast. The episode with Hannah (also smug, but less annoying) was so much better. Kois ruins the culture gabfest when he is on it, and I can only imagine the hash he makes of the Serial commentary. “I really love this podcast. I have a master’s degree but live in an undereducated rural area, and I do not find people in real life who are similar to me in education and parenting style. “I'll listen to any podcast that occasionally mentions Milwaukee's recombobulation area. But honestly, I'd listen to these two guys even if they didn't. They make me look forward to parenting, and I think they'll help me be better at it. Plus, it's funny.”Read full review »

“Enjoy the show for tackling everyday topics that you may have opinions on even if you do not have kids. Everyone has been a kid, most know people with kids and most have parents so...the show is relevant. The hosts aren't afraid to give sometimes controversial opinions.
