Between his desperate attempts to sound like Alan Partridge on the weekly “what we learned” monologues, and his verbose, exhausting speeches that overwhelm any of his interview subjects, this is another Monocle podcast I can’t listen to unless I’m trying to torture myself. With so many great...Read full review »

I listened to this for 15 minutes but that was all I could take. The number one thing that makes podcasting interesting and informative is when the broadcaster tries to see all sides of issues and has a sense of nuance. This show and the hosts are boring, self-referential, narcissistic, and smug,...Read full review »

Dear Monocole Radio, Really listen you gladly and always awaiting for a good news your provide us. Lately we have been listening a lot about ongoing Ukraine war, a fresh conflict in Israel, and Africa as well. I wanted to ask you if you could possibly touch a bit on a subject of a lack of...Read full review »

If you’re looking for a deeper understanding of the news and politics of the day, with a uniquely European angle, it’s hard to do much better than Monocle 24. They’re show is quick paced, entertaining, and well produced for a daily podcast. Worth listening if you enjoy news from BBC, NPR, or CBC.

Great news, Interesting commentary & great hosts. Nice touch of humour too. Love it.

The radio programs are now just pointedly anti-brexit (Uk) and pro Biden (US). The non-news programs, business, music arts etc still worth listening to. (And I voted remain, would do so again and if I lived in America would probably be a democrate). It’s just so one sided, just like the BBC really.

Great podcast covering the news with satisfying depth & breadth. But please stop booking Rebecca Tinsley - she’s torturous to listen to.

Hard to see the balance in todays (1 July) discussion on English literature funding. The argument isn’t whether studying the arts is important. It’s related to where do we need taxpayer dollars to go now to secure future prosperity. Sorry, but we desperately need engineers and scientists right...Read full review »

Let's set the scene, I love this podcast. Balanced, fair, and fun to listen to. The group over at Monocle have put together a programme that manages to both inform and entertain at the same time, which is all impressive for a 1 hour podcast. I have to say my favourite episodes are the ones...Read full review »

Informative, very relevant global news, great interviews, and I love that the hosts have a sense of humor. I listen to all of the Monocle 24 podcasts and the magazine is superb!

I've really enjoyed this podcast but have decided to unsubscribe. Throughout your podcast you play that bloody irritating ad for UBS. The treatment of Water Protectors in Dakota by police protecting corporate interests has become deeply disturbing. The silence from most media, including you,...Read full review »

An insightful and refreshing hour of great journalism. As an American expat in Germany, this podcast provides the worldly perspective and content driven stories that I want - plus the occasional lighthearted touch or witty sarcasm of regular host @andrew_mueller will leave you felling a bit...Read full review »

Emma Nelson and Andrew Mueller are the best presenting team I have heard since Sonia Deol and Henry Bonsu used to do the drive time news on BBC London and I can give no higher praise.
