No thanks.
I was excited to give this podcast a listen, but I couldn’t make it through the second episode. There are way too many ads in this show. The narrator’s own stories about his insomnia seems forced and fake. No one cares about your problems, dude, just tell the serial killer’s story. Or don’t, because I won’t be listening.

More reviews of Monster Presents: Insomniac
I heard an ad for this podcast on another true crime podcast that I so far love so I decided to give this one a try. I started the first episode and I sort of lost interest throughout it. It’s just not the podcast for me. Thank you!

Overwrought and monotonous pseudo horror from the narrator. Spend more time on creative storytelling and less on creating a “spooky” atmosphere

The content could be so compelling but the voice of host plus painfully slow pace (along with anecdotes of insomnia) make for an unsuccessful storytelling recipe.
