Interesting but the Monster series feels really padded
This is the second Monster series I'm listening to and while both are very interesting and thorough, they feel REALLY padded. You know those clickbait articles where you're sucked in to an article that claims to show you something amazing, but you have to click through 45 pages of filler and story to get to the point? These 15-part series give me that vibe, especially when there's a fair bit of retreading from one episode to another. This series could have easily been a 7 or 8 part series and still had a lot to say. It's hard not to feel like they were stretched to 15 to maximize advertising. (I mean, I get it, but it still annoys me)Read full review »

More reviews of Monster: The Zodiac Killer
Good account of the Zodiac case, the podcast is a bit overstretched though, could have been done in half the episodes. Lots of irritating ads as well.

Well written podcast. The case is intriguing to say the least and will likely never be solved. Definitely recommend if you’re interested in the Zodiac case.

Binged this years ago and still listen to episodes now. If you’re into serial killers, mysteries, or are familiar with the crime this is a good listen. Good sound quality. Host is well educated on the material. Thanks for the show
