Last season, Monuments to Me, set out to create a safe space for Black women to feel, to create, and to just be. Coming back for season 2 shows that what we tried to do from the beginning was enough - and there’s no stopping us as we continue to build a community for Black Women by Black Women to talk about things that are important to them.  This new season begins with returning co-host Akilah Ffriend introducing a former listener turned new co-host, Dawn Montgomery, and a sneak peek into some of the topics they’re going to discuss in future episodes.
