An insightful podcast for anyone to listen to
I want to share my appreciation for the space created on this podcast as someone who falls into the “those who love Black women” group. The episode on self care literally made me slow down and actually ask myself what I need. And there is an innovative energy that comes from this show’s centering of Black women’s perspectives, in particular considering the episodes that highlight how Black women engage political self-determination. I’m excited to see where this podcast goes next.

More reviews of Monuments to Me
Although I enjoy this podcast I feel that the hosts don’t allow the guests to complete their thoughts or answers when questioned. They constantly interrupt and talk about themselves. I would give a higher rating but the interruption by the hosts while the guest is speaking is annoying.

Great podcast! I love listening to two smart black women with clear, yet distinct perspectives.

It’s only been two episodes and I’m already hooked. I looove the unapologetic manner in which the hosts approach their discussions. I’m here for it all and can’t wait for this journey of listening and learning.
