“I’m a true crime junkie, but it can get dark at times. My favorite thing about morbid is that they talk about these stories the way I would in real life. With quirky comments and tidbits from their real lives to remind me that it’s okay to have a dark, spooky side. It’s all about balance, and that’s what makes their opening banter important for me. It’s a little bit silly and it reminds us that they have real lives like we do, and I love learning things about Ash and Alaina. I can listen to the darkest, ickiest stories and still feel human at the end of them. I also like how unrehearsed and organic it feels to listen. I’m a fairly new fan, but now I’m a Weirdo for life.”
