We come here for true crime. I used to love this show but I cannot stand when any personality tries to jump into politics. Stick to the plot! Also, can we chill on the ads and personal convo for the majority of the show? Sheeesh. I don’t listen anymore for these reasons.

“Trump rhetoric.” 🙄 You mean media propaganda. Do a fact check on anything you think he’s said or done..not using Google that feeds this nonsense. Pappini is a horrible person, but to tie that to Trump in anyway is just ignorant.

Ash and Alaina are witty and incredibly caring people. They do their best to make sure the victim’s stories are told. They are having an unscripted conversation so if you prefer scripted podcast, this is not for you. They script the actual subject of each episode but they do not script the back...Read full review »

You guys were so good when you first started. The podcast was very light in the personal talk and never injecting your own opinions. In fact I started listening because I couldn’t take Georgia and Karen from MFM go on about their political opinions anymore. But now I believed you have found...Read full review »

I’ve been a listener since the beginning even a member of wondery+ but we really don’t need your political opinions, bad enough you constantly hate on religion now you bring politics into it. Most people listen to true crime for the cases if we wanted political content we’d turn on the news!

I personally love the intros. And when I just want to hear the case, it’s easy to buffer through it. I like the casual conversation between the reports because it makes me feel like a part of the conversation. As far as any personal opinions I think this is y’all’s platform and rather i agree or...Read full review »

Listening to the Jerry Brudos part 2. The hosts spend a lot of time talking about how Brudos killed women and how he blames the victims for going with him or not escaping when they had a chance. I mean A LOT of time analyzing how he blamed the victims. But it never occurs to them that he’s a...Read full review »

Honestly I love this podcast. They make it lighthearted whilst not romanticising anything. They’re honest and funny! I’m working my way through the back catalogue as I found this podcast not long ago, already through to 2019 and recommended the podcast to ALL my friends. And I love how no matter...Read full review »

About 1/3 of the way into binging these amazing story telling true crime folk. Discovered about a month ago & can’t stop listening to these two. Brings true crime to life for better or worse. These women dragged the story out for an hour and a half, peppered the thing with f- bombs every 20-40 seconds, amd couldn’t decide if this was eery to them or scary or an unethical hoax, kept dancing between the two. Not for me for the above reasons.

I enjoy the episodes but sometimes there’s too much personal discussion. Sometimes I just want to listen to the crime case but have to hear unrelated topics for 12 minutes. Otherwise it’s a great podcast!

Sheri Pappini is a loser but there’s nothing wrong with White pride. How come Whites are the only people who can’t be proud of who they are? Liked this podcast before your racism.

Ash’s episodes drive me crazy. She misspeaks constantly and it doesn’t have the same flow. Alaina doesn’t give good responses. Stick with where you thrive: Alaina telling the stories and Ash responding.

I listen to you guys everyday! Love you guys, LOVE the way you give a backstory on everyone and how real you are. Can we get more cases of people of color?? No one cares about your political opinions. Your bias is evident and makes the podcast insufferable when it takes a turn in that direction.

Your rating take a hit every time you bring up your political beliefs. Nobody cares about what you think about politics I promise you. Keep to the topic that people listen in for.

I would listen to every single episode if Ash wasn’t on this. The way she talks with her voice going higher at the end of the sentence. The way she says “like” a million times…..and don’t even get me started on her “whuuut?” She sounds so unintelligent.

It’s an alright podcast, not nearly as good as Crime Junkies. These girls will legit talk for 15+ mins about nonsense before getting to their story. I love these ladies and their show. Found this during the pandemic and it’s been a great alternative to the traditional exploitative true crime shows. They are respectful but also make fun of the perpetrators, which is cathartic. Thanks for always being here for us!

Wish there was a theme song or something that I could skip to so I’d know when the story actually starts! I LOVE the storytelling but it seriously takes so long to actually get to it, the into convos and tangents should honestly be saved for the end!
