“Ash and Alaina are witty and incredibly caring people.
They do their best to make sure the victim’s stories are told. They are having an unscripted conversation so if you prefer scripted podcast, this is not for you. They script the actual subject of each episode but they do not script the back and forth.
For those complaining that they have the *audacity* to speak to each other whilst telling the story, they make it very clear from the first episode how they are formatting their show. If you don’t like it, then don’t listen. Stop giving bad ratings to podcasts that are not FOR you.
This podcast is a safe space for people who aren’t always safe in the real world.
It is genuinely like sitting down with your friends and having conversations about true crime.
This is THEIR show so they are not forced to mask while recording. It’s not soulless unlike a lot of other podcasts who either glamorize true crime (creepy) or report it like it’s on the news, with no emotion attached.
I love listener tales as well.
I don’t love the alien stories but they are few and far between, so I just skip them and wait for the next one. Lots of people like those episodes, so I would never complain.
I hope Ash and Alaina continue for a long time. It’ll be a sad day when there are no new episodes.”
