“I know Emily contributes to They Walk Among Us and she is a great writer and prolific storyteller. I know she’s from Northern Ireland and I’m familiar with the accent, but there’s something off about her cadence and the rhythmic pauses in her narration that go beyond a lilt and simply become singsong and frankly annoying. I keep listening from time to time but can’t subscribe as I would not be able to listen regularly. I’ll buy her books and appreciate her work elsewhere. I think that with a bit of coaching she might give a more polished presentation and that would be wonderful.
