No Hipocrite‎
To those who would think John Dehlin a hipocrite, I would say that every interview Dehlin conducts weaves not only his personal struggle between faith and doubt but also his desire to challenge and educate his audience. So, depending on what period of his life we find him in, he might appear more or less supportive of the church while interviewing people who are themselves on their own journeys through faith and doubt. Inevitably, and depending on your own perspective, he might appear as too supportive (rationalizing) or not supportive enough (undermining). Listening to him, I've been on both sides of that fence. Where you can count on candor is when others have interviewed Dehlin. He clearly states his position and, as a thinking person who does not eschew doubt, it is always changing, and thankfully for us, challenging, entertaining, and often uplifting.Read full review »

John has provided an honest outlet for discussing and learning about the more difficult Mormon issues, both past and present. It always has a sincere tone and is never too heavy handed, which difficult to accomplish. Thanks, John!
