“Finally an honest look at Mormonism. The Mormon Stories (MS) podcasts from front to back are a journey in themselves. Not all podcasts are created equally, but I'm partial to those which focus on historical and anthropological aspects of Mormonsim.
This isn't a romantic view of Mormonism, but if you value historical fact and understanding realities and challenges associated with a growing new world religion, then this is a great place to be. If you want a podcast that will give you warm fuzzies and only praise all things Mormonism, this might not be the place for you. Some of the facts presented here will challenge orthodox notions. At the same time, those unorthodox realities will give a new and probably accurate perspective on former and current church membership, and the challenges church leadership has had to deal with over the history of the LDS church.
