Lively political insider talk show with 2 main hosts (1 Dem, 1 Rep), several political journalist or writer regulars, and a variety of guests. This podcast includes the more political portion of a longer show - the first hour, but shorter because the commercials are removed.
Listen to this on fast play. They bat back and forth on today's political topics. They make a lot of sports refs, rock and roll and movie refs, talk all over each other, like a morning coffee shop conversation between friends. Lots of fun.
The weakest part is Joe's rants. He goes on too long and acts a bit too sure, drowns people out. But no-one on the show plays "perfect". Nuts and bolts. They don't sell ideology, rather discuss process. They tolerate each other's POVs. Open, lively, informative. A great show. Just add the rest of the televised show to the podcast.”Read full review »
