Ten minutes into the first episode I knew I could listen to this again and again. It’s got such a deft weave of social & political history and personal and familial biography. Zayn’s concise narrative leaves room for detail, both delectable and disturbing. I had to stop half way thru to scream Brava Brava Brava here

Am really liking this podcast - it’s the second one I’ve listened to this year about the crazy times in the 1960’s and ’70’s. My Fugitive goes more into the FBI and subversion - including the assassination of MLK. This one is more about the students themselves. Both great and I’ve learned a lot.
