“It sounded to me like a platform for rationalizing domestic terrorism. Which is a convenient and available option for a bunch of white people. I enjoyed the interviews with members of the Panthers and BLA, and having that history highlighted. But all the white boomers manufacturing handy defenses of their actions is, honestly, insulting. They rationalize, in real time, breaking Timothy Leary out of prison for a paycheck while the Panther 21 sat in prison. So whether a person sees them as terrorists or not, it’s obvious they aren’t even consistently principled. Not sure why Crooked is elevating this.”
