“I can’t stop telling my fellow riders about this podcast. It’s hilarious, informative and fun. And it’s the perfect way to get me through the winter season here in South Dakota.
My one gripe though is about the level of shaming that takes place when it comes to helmet use. No one needs to be reminded of the benefits of wearing a skid lid, yet it seems to come up during every episode. And at times, the way the show hosts talk about it teeters on condescension and insults.
Considering the pod is recorded in California, listening to Californians talk about the benefits of helmets is nauseating. It might have more effect if the proponents of helmet use weren’t mandated by their government to wear one.
Please take my comments into consideration and understand folks choose not to wear helmets for lots of different reasons and no amount of discussion about helmets will convince the wildest among us to put one on if we don’t have to.
Otherwise, thanks for keeping me entertained and informed!
