“If you're a fan of movies and you have, at some point in your life, been into Wrestling, this show is for you. Even if you haven't been into Wrestling, you should totally give this a try.
The Movie Trivia Schmoedown is a trivia show that's putting your knowledge and love for movies to the test. You'll be surprised to find out that there are people that can tell you the release date of all the Oscar nominated movies for the past 50 years. Or that someone knows how many Storm Troopers were coming down a ramp in minute 35 of The Empire Strikes Back.
It's a lot of fun to watch, because the game by itself is already very entertaining.
Once you start watching it more religiously, you'll also start to get into the characters and their storylines. Competitors will join factions depending on the outcomes of their matches (these are not scripted unlike in Wrestling - it is ALWAYS about who's got the most knowledge about movies and that little bit of extra luck to get a category on the wheel that they feel confident in), they'll "turn to the dark side" and tell fans and friends to get lost or they'll eventually find themselves again and become positive inspirations for those around them.
The production quality is great and the team behind this is super motivated - you can clearly tell that everyone truly loves what they're doing from the competitors and commentators all the way to the editors.
