“This podcast is great, but it is too descriptive at times, which makes it way too drawn out. I still listen so it’s a 5* for me, but it is something I wanted to flag for improvement.
A real example is, when describing Sanju’s belly operation, after already a long description of detail that doesn’t add anything to the story, the final straw is “and then the surgeon held his scalpel and placed his hand on the belly for leverage.” This final bit was just too much. The rest was more than enough to build suspense already.
Thanks and keep up the good work! Hope you consider taking the above into account for improvement. Consider what detail furthers the story and has purpose. That is great to build suspense and a clear picture in the listener’s head. But anything above that line, please cut. It does not really do anything for you.”
