“Listened to an episode and a half and have no interest in continuing. The way the ~mystery~ of each episode is set up for a big reveal is so blatant that I couldn’t take it seriously. Yes, these were genuinely mysterious circumstances, but phrasing everything to dodge the clues and keep it extra mysterious (‘his guess as to what might be causing it’ rather than stating the hypothesis, ‘the device’ rather than naming the Geiger counter) is just amateurish. I have only a passing interest in medical mysteries and I have already heard of every one of these. They would probably be fascinating for younger listeners, maybe equivalent to a middle-grade book?”
