I Have Been Waiting for This. This is Awesome!!! Old School Lives!!!
I am so glad that MRN has made these broadcasts available. Their coverage has always been second to none and it is a thrill to hear these races. Nascar has changed a lot in the last decade and I feel that despite 'lucky dog' free passes, double-file restarts, and the waive-around rule, the races in the 80's and 90's were just as, if not more exciting. As I started listening to these broadcasts, I couldn't help but smile. It was like having some old friends return. Change is inevitable, but the drivers of the past seem to have a more rugged edge to them. When they won races, they did their victory lap and went to victory lane. No burnouts or other showboating. They respected their equipment. I'm not knocking the talent of today's drivers, but you simply don't have personas like Dale Earnhardt Sr. anymore. I recommend this to any true Nascar fan, especially those new to the sport. It gives you a feel of what it was like in yesteryear. We never forget these drivers. Just listen to the the 1992 Winston All-Star Race broadcast. The winner, Davey Allison (still the only back-to-back winner nearly 20 years later), earned only $250,000 and he earned every penny of it as he crashed at the finish line (the last lap of that race is still, in my opinion, the single most exciting last lap I have ever heard or seen), Contrast that with this year's all-star race where the winner, Carl Edwards, won over $1,000,000 and instead of wrecking his car going all out for the win, he wrecked it doing a ridiculous celebration slide through grass. Plus, these broadcasts are free!!! Thank you so much MRN!!!!!Read full review »

The 1977 US GP from Watkins Glen was amazing. Please post more F1 races from that classic period if possible. Thanks!
