“I had been looking for a video game-centric podcast for months, maybe over a year at this point, but those I found never scratched the "itch," so to speak. Thankfully, I recently found the 'Video Gamers Podcast' and I think this is the one. Their production value is high with smart creative decisions: audio quality is great with no distracting background noise and no obnoxious sound effects when they transition to ads. Paul, Josh, and Ryan have great chemistry--they share the topic of conversation with each other equally and don't excessively belabor it, even if one of them has an unnatural love of hero shooters and could probably go on about the subject matter for days. Their format is tight: they keep the regular show, which covers current games and gaming news to a healthy 30-40 minutes, but they also have deep dives that cover older games (which I'm all about) that just eclipse an hour. This consistency reveals a level of professionalism and craftsmanship that must be recognized. As a 38 year old dad, I think it's a good sign when you wish you could join a conversation with guys you've never met to talk about video games and that's how good the 'Video Gamers Podcast' is. “A well polished podcast from day one, no need to change anything, good guys the listen too have a load of fun, Brings back my gaming days (late 90s - 2008) and slowing twisting my arm to get back in to gaming.
