“Thank you for your episode with Susie Amy - I think more people need to talk about the realities of birth. My little girl has just turned 1 and I had a very traumatic birth, I also didn’t feel listened to and thought the care was completely inadequate. I was so shocked by how badly treated I was I’ve had counselling and a de-brief since. All I seem to see online are ‘happy’ births and I think this adds to the disappointment and shock if people have traumatic births - so thank you for speaking about your births, it’s helped me and I’m sure others.”
