Description
In an ever-evolving world, where traditional work structures are being challenged, in this episode, Kelly (@Kids_and_the_Commute) and I answer your questions and look at the advantages of flexible working arrangements for both employees and employers. We discuss how employees can achieve a better work-life balance, enhance job satisfaction, and optimise their performance when given the freedom to choose when and where they work. We also explain why we feel this option allows employers to tap into the vast potential of flexible work options to attract and retain top talent, boost employee engagement, and foster a culture of innovation. From examining real-life case studies, such as the global four-day week trial, companies in the US who offered employees unlimited holiday as part of their signing bonus and the concerning organisations are talking on their remote working policies (including Lloyds). Flexible working is a right for every employee, Kelly and I hope to give you the tools you need to be able to ask your employer for flexible working. Recently Kelly has transitioned from working in the corporate world for over 20 years to the world of self-employment, pursuing her passion as a content creator. At the end of this episode, we take some time to discuss what the future holds and how this allows Kelly to be more open in her work highlighting the rights for everyone to have access to flexible working and highlighting the work of other campaigners including Anna Whitehouse @mother_pukka and Joeli Brearley @pregnant_then_screwed.
