I am absolutely addicted to this podcast. The dedication and hard work shows. Thank you for bringing light to the darkness that is our justice system. I hope we see some serious change.

I began listening to this podcast about halfway through the trial. I've been a trail watcher since the OJ days. This is the best coverage I've ever had the pleasure of listening and watching. Thanks everyone at the podcast! You're awesome!Read full review »

After Mallory Beach’s (wrongful) boating death, Mandy tenaciously brought these low country hooligans to light. Joined by fellow journalist Liz Ferrell, they follow- & connect - all the threads. So Many threads! Start at the beginning; each ep. Is skillfully crafted. These pros are fighting...Read full review »

I'm interested in hearing more about Murdaugh family dynamics. Why did Randy put up with Alex taking his checks? What situation was Randy attempting to preempt with his NYT article?Read full review »

I heard about your podcast from Kathleen Madigan on Madigan’s Pubcast (she always has great recommendations!). I’m new to your podcast and can’t believe you’ve been at this for 2 years! Bravo! Keep up your strong work and thank you!!

I was excited to start listening to this podcast tonight, but had to turn it off. I’d rather hear 10,000 people simultaneously scratching their nails down a chalkboard than to endure another moment of her voice.

Avery informative but hard to follow. The individual episode are hard to follow and the way the episodes are set up all out of chronological order is very hard to get past!
KennyBoul25 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/20/23
A lot of the personal angst Mandy expresses on the podcast is cringe-worthy, off-putting, childish, and frankly, paranoid. See a therapist and keep it off the air. No everyone who disagrees with you is out to get you, or a hate-bot bent on destroying your universe. I appreciated your early...Read full review »

Is this fun to listen to? Totally. Does it give you two sides of a story? Certainly not. This isn’t “investigative journalism” it’s a smear campaign. Do I think Murdaugh did it? Oh yeah. But nothing about this is unbiased. Just know you are getting an extremely one-sided story.

I’m listening in hindsight. Started at the beginning but had to stop due to the breathy. exaggerated. staccato. delivery. IN HINDSIGHT y’all were SO judgmental about the AG’s decisions. And so freaking uppity in talking about the firm. I’m finding it hard to believe you are old enough and wise...Read full review »

Great reporting with informative background, but I understand those who find her voice annoying. Her intonation makes it sound like every. single. word. in a sentence is important when that’s simply not the case. I usually just skip the last 2-3 minutes of each episode and it’s manageable.

This podcast has such potential but her voice is like nails on a chalkboard. I feel like I’m listening to a cheerleader feed me the latest gossip on her cheer squad or something. I just can’t…if you can stomach the voice then go for it but I can’t.

Appreciate the obvious work put into getting facts from sources and reporting. However, as a lawyer, their legal takes and speculation about legal proceedings are just bad and wrong. They seem to have a number of lawyers that come on from time to time, you’d think Mandy and Liz would consult with...Read full review »

Fascinating and wonderful job un/covering this. Shocking how people in power can and have got away with so much. They would likely still be getting away with it if it wasn’t for journalists like you.

I understand that you’ve been investigating this case for a very long time and are extremely upset about the corruption happening at all levels. However, it seemed to become more and more about you (me, me, we, we was used repeatedly) and how you “own” this story.

Great listen from those that did the work to uncover the truth. This isn’t just a podcast that repeats what others have said. This group did the work. The calls. The interviews the digging. Great to see that journalism isn’t dead. Go get those cronies that destroy others !

Could y’all be any more self-righteous and self-congratulatory? Doubt it. Get over yourselves and stop saying you’re here for the victims. MM voice was not made to podcast. Too “breathy” and her lisping is very hard to ignore. Good information mostly but tends to get over dramatic a lot. Omg and the CW gushing is nauseous Thankful the trial is over.

First of all, if you all don’t know Mandy is one of the reasons Murdaugh is in jail right now. She uncovered the Gloria Satterfield missing settlement. I wanted to learn more about these cases, but I had to quit listening. I got tired of the repeating information, length of time to communicate new information, asks for ratings, and references to ‘haters’ for bad reviews. I wanted to like this, but I just didn’t.

I tried hard to like this podcast. I’m all on board with calling out power and influence but not at the expense of truth. Did Alex Murdaugh kill his family? Yes. Did SLED do an abysmal job? Be better. Plenty of victims and villains in this story but Mandy et als level of pettiness is gross. An episode dedicated to disparaging victims Maggie and Paul is gross. We’re they perfect?
