“The “good” priest was the victim of a rendezvous gone bad. And, if this were the case, perhaps the assailant lived on Shelter Island. Perhaps this alleged man of the cloth enjoyed a life of subterfuge and risk unbeknownst to his adoring acolytes. Double lives exist everywhere. Even on islands.”
