Strange Happenings
The audio did some strange things either near the end of episode 1 or beginning of episode 2, and then around the 2/3rds mark of episode 2. Just twice so far, and hopefully the only time from now on. Once an awkward overlay with Keith, the music, and someone else talking, then a 15-30 second period with no audio, picking up somewhere random in the interviewee's story. The only reason I am pointing these audio issues out is because I paid for Dateline Premium to listen to them while I was cleaning my apartment last night. I absolutely love Dateline, all of the hosts, and the stunning quality of it's podcasts. I also do not mind paying for Dateline Premium off-and-on because not only do I hate the ads, the ones about MSNBC and The Today Show drive me up a wall... not only because they have narrative driven tones and annoying things like political buzz words, but also because I have no respect for news anchors who do not treat all people with the same level of dignity, respect, and reverence. This is why I adore the Dateline NBC hosts. They do not attempt to talk down to any of their audience members or respectful interviewees, especially the families of those affected by the events the episode are about. Josh & Dennis are the GOATS!!!Read full review »

Keith is the best? He describes things that make me laugh out loud. One time during a podcast he said “he folded like a cheap tent”. Still laugh to this day.

Didn’t realize that I couldn’t finish this without a subscription until I got to that spot. My error for not seeing it, probably. This is too slow moving & not worth paying for. imho.
