Great cases, lots of detail, and I love his style.

This podcast is brilliant. The episodes are well researched and narrated. Mike is considerate in his story telling and extra mile (the waffly bit at the end) is funny, engaging and informative. There’s also daily inch for when Mike is away researching for episodes which are brilliant.

Great podcast, cleverly written with humour, dislike the after part but it’s ok I just skip it

So each episode is two parts: The first half is really coherent and well-produced and narrated. The host makes a LOT of conjecture about people's motivations, which I find annoying, but it's still pretty engrossing, if you take these armchair analyses with a grain of salt. But in the...Read full review »

I like the podcast, it's easy to see that he puts in a lot of work and effort towards each episode and tells the story with humorous professionalism and hard work always deserves high recognition. But I wish the theme could branch out into different types of crime, involving different types...Read full review »

I absolutely love this podcast. His voice is great, he is an extremely good writer and I love the banter at the end of the show. I am a history and true crime fan and this podcast is a great mix of both.

I find the podcast very interesting. I have been a listener for awhile, but finally writing a review to say you were great, Mike, on the live show with the other podcasters. 👍🏻

I love this Podcast! The host is a man you warm to instantly. It is crystal clear that so much research goes into each episode. Michael approaches each case with sensitivity and insight. Sometimes humour is used if it’s suitable but for some of the most sad and gut wrenching episodes Mike can...Read full review »

I especially like the descriptions of poverty stricken historic London and the thoughtful backdrop to all the stories to help us understand how hard people’s lives were and how the odds were stacked against them, particularly the poor and women with children in a system that didn’t protect them....Read full review »

I listen to a ton of true crime podcasts -I’ve listened to Murder Mile for a long time-and am always impressed by the amount of detail that Michael goes into. There are not many that compare. Most hosts just regurgitate old information. Good work Michael!

Michael pours himself into all episodes with thoroughness, creativity, sensitivity, intellect, and boundless enthusiasm. It’s hard to imagine how one can make true crime enjoyable but he does - and with much respect for the people he features. Murder Mile is my # 1 podcast and I listen to many...Read full review »

Where do I begin ... this will be too long to print ... Michael, your talent had my heart on the first episode ... which amazed me, enthralled me, and has now captivated me to the point where I cannot do without your podcast. I’m quite sad that a podcast that generally had victim focused stories chose to completely victim blame in the ‘Immoral Mrs Patmore’. The husband killed his wife and an unborn baby. The wife and her sister being promiscuous does not excuse that. The sister writing a letter to the husband does...Read full review »

My favourite ever podcast but to really enjoy more than ever you need to go back to the very start and really get to know Mike. This is definitely a showcase podcast; this beautifully done pod has a host with a voice like butter that is able to paint the scene so as he says, in the beginning, it makes you feel as if you were there. The only problem with the podcast if this is a criticism at all is that his voice is too...Read full review »

I’ve stopped listening to this podcast as the ‘jokes’ are off putting and out of context, and the extra mile stuff at the end is unbearable. That needs to be a separate episode so those of us who can’t stand it don’t have to listen to it. Until then… adios

Maybe I chose a bad episode to listen to for the first time, but I just don’t get it.
