Plagiarizes her “work”
Episode 2 from 12/10/17, “BFF Murder,” is a retelling of a January 8, 2004 LA Weekly article entitled “Two Against One.” Episode 3 from 12/24/17, “Killer Party” (which has since been removed), heavily plagiarizes a December 18, 2013 Rolling Stone article, “Tyler Hadley’s Killer Party.” This isn’t a rookie mistake; it is blatant plagiarism that could get you fired if you were an actual journalist, and it could get you expelled if you were a college student at an institution with an honor code. If you can’t research and write your own material, perhaps podcasting isn’t something you should pursue.

Jami is such an excellent speaker and rocks this thing called podcasting. This is one of those that you never want an episode to end. Can’t wait for more! Congrats, Jami and Murderish!

Three episodes in, and am confident I'll listen for as long as Jami decides to dish them out. The narration is clear and easy on the ears, the research well done, and the production is just right. One of my current favorites.Read full review »
