“Absolutely amazing. It has been almost a year since i started listening to your podcast. I have been training for 3 years. I used to be a ‘hardcore’ fitness-obsessed girl who would just go into the gym and grind to a point where i felt depleted afterwards and got no energy for thr next activity in my life.
First thing that i gained from your podcast is the desire to learn more about anatomy ,biomechanics and how our body works because i didnt understand what you were talking about 😂i remember it was an episode about stretching with John Medows.
Then i started to learn that training your mind is just as important, if not more prominent,than training your body. I started to focus on my internal mind and notice how constantly tense i am.
When it comes to building muscles, it is exercise exeuction that matters the most, as you always preach. Now, when i dont feel good in my squat, i surpress the usual desire to put on more weights and focus on executing the movement properly. I lift less weight but i feel generally better .
Ben, there is just so much that i have learned from you. I cannot even state that enough.
Recently i am on a higher fat lower carb diet. I feel better, i have more control over my appetite,my focus improves , i feel less sleepy in general.
I really like the latest episode on the Ketogenic diet! Really informative!! I would love to hear more about it and the nervous system.
