Silly yet informative
This is the only musical podcast I listen to. It’s equal parts caring and irreverent in a way that makes it very approachable to people like me who love the idea of musical theater but mostly just listen to the same cast albums from their childhood with very little being added to the rotation. I’ve been listening for years, and I feel like it’s made me much more fond of musical theater as an art form, plus one of their ads told me about a performance of the secret garden I was able to get tickets to, and I’d literally been wanting to see that show for about 30 years. Cheers guys, and keep up the good work. edit: the hosts read this on their episode and mentioned I gave them four stars. That was user error. I don’t know the Apple Podcasts app very well and didn’t realize I had accidentally docked them a star. This is a five star podcast.

I’ve been following Jess since 2013 and I’m happy to see how far he’s come. Both Jess and Andrew's commentary on this podcast is hilarious and interesting. Keep it coming, guys! These really make my day!Read full review »
