Meh.
I actually don't mind the content of this podcast, as I, like many others, am secretly obsessed with the grotesque! When they get into the stories and actually tell a cohesive story, I enjoy the narrative. But I am unsubscribing. My biggest complaint is that I am tired of their millennial whining ("oh my goddddd someone is going to totallyyyyy murder us now, I could never live on the ground floor", how many times do you have to repeat this?!) and vocal fry ("Totalyyyyyyy....." was said in the last podcast I listened to at least a dozen times, seriously Google vocal fry and you won't be able to unhear). Listen, I too am a millennial-age female, but I can't take it, this podcast is like listening to the cast of HBO "Girls" self-absorbedly discussing murders ("like, this murder is totallyyyyy freakkyyyy, how can I make it about meeee and my insecurities? OMG this murder was in LA 30 years ago? I live in LA! Don't murder me in my not-ground-floor apartment guysssss!"). I like the content, and I may come back in a few months to see if they have improved. I am, however, going to subscribe to a podcast they've mentioned a couple of times now to see if it is truly what I seek (called The Last Podcast on the Left). Georgia and Karen, don't stop what you are doing! Just refine it, make it listenable.Read full review »

I can tell right away that this is going to be right up my alley. The kind of dark alley with a dumpster that contains some body parts and maybe a hard to decipher letter to the police. Great mix of true crime and comedy!

Karen & Georgia are so funny and so dark. It's like eavesdropping on two friends hanging out, being smart, honest and looking at the macabre through a warped and witty lens. It's a show about True Crime but it's also a podcast about Human Nature, relationships, family, friends and...Read full review »
