- Minisodes are overstuffed with ads, and the hosts have steered the topics of listener emails away from local crime and into random anecdotes.
- The first third of most full-length episodes is made up of tedious chit-chat about pop culture and family members.
- Outsourcing the research has turned Karen and Georgia into glorified narrators.
