Right now the dandelions are sleeping and waiting to wake up. Let's talk about how we're going to eat them. Hahaha. Also, enjoy my very strange and unusual offering about how to make a green, dandelion-based, kind of rumaki.

I want to make a vegan sour cream dressing. This got me thinking about self-reliance and I talk a little bit about it. It also made me think about my mother, who really loved Billie Holiday. So I talk a little bit about that and self-reliance. Let's chat about it.

Hunting season started and now it's truly time to get ready to remember how to make stock from game animals like deer or elk. If you're lucky enough to have gotten an elk tag, and got the harvesting, then this is a great recipe for you to use in order to extend the flavor of the bounty to other meals as well as any stews you want to make from the meat. A lot of gelatin can be extracted from a knuckle bones so don't forget to include those as well.
