“I started reading comics about a year and half ago (ironically was only interested in DC), and comic book herald was my go to. When I finally gave marvel a crack, instantly fell in love with how In depth both the reading orders and feedback were. I mainly focused on more modern comics(marvel knights-present); however, found myself always wanting to go back to the origins of many of my favorite characters and the universe as a whole, the only problem is that many of the early comics feel and look dated. That is not to say they don’t have great moments, some of them are actually quite interesting, but sadly not for me. That’s where Dave and Zach come in, they do an outstanding job of both analyzing the comics in all their glory, or lack there of, while at the same time adding they’re own humor and style so they’re not just simply narrating a comic( Stan Lee does plenty of that as it is.) Whether you read a comic a day and have your own pull list, or simply want to learn about the universe that is Marvel, this podcast is for you.”
