“It’s hard to give a review of 5 stars to a topic involving the abuse of children, but Deon’s investigation and reporting on this topic, which seems to be its on epidemic lately, is extraordinary. It hits home as an old girl of sister school DSG but also since I have a young teenage son who is also sporty and spends a lot of time with various sports coaches and on tours. I’ve always been concerned about abuse by teachers and coaches and hope I’ve given my son the right tools to look out for it and talk to me or his dad if he feels at all uncomfortable. I’m haunted by this story and am heartbroken for the Kruger family. Thank you Deon for exposing these monsters and shame on you College for allowing this to go on under your nose and sweeping it under the rug. Shame on all the parents too who ignored it as heaven forbid their darling school gets a bad rep! I have friends and family members who have sons there now and can’t believe this is the first time I’m hearing about this horrific story.”
