Great podcast. Just allows the story to be told from the closest possible perspective. Nothing sensationalist or gaudy. Ryan is a brave, strong and amazing individual. Kudos to all involved

My heart goes out to Ryan and Tonya for reliving this tragedy in their lives. The podcast was so well done. It’s very hard to understand how Brittany could murder her grandfather. Drugs are such dangerous substances.

This story is heartbreaking, and so well done. I wish I could hang with Ryan and his mum. My heart aches for her, for them both. ❤️

I wasn’t sure how this podcast was going to go from the first episode but it was really well done. It provided just the right amount of information, nothing was regurgitated over and over like many other shows. Ryan was a great story teller and you can feel the pain in his voice. Such a sad loss...Read full review »

Heartbreaking 💔 but Ryan and his mum are so real, honest and leaving a permanent record for everyone to know “Poppa” as what sounds like the dad and grandfather we all need ❤️ Brittany made choices so did her co accused and mates. They can live with that and the consequences. There really isn’t...Read full review »

I could not stop listening. Ryan tells the story so well. I’m very moved and impressed by his bravery - not an easy story to tell in so much detail.

Worst podcast I’ve listened too. First episode is so cringe I had to turn it off.

It feels wrong to say I enjoyed the podcast given the tragic events involved. It is a fascinating story and so sensitively covered. I appreciated the simple interview approach and hearing it first hand from Ryan was so powerful. Thank you to Ryan and Tonya for sharing their story.

In complete awe of Ryan & his mum- and how, individually & together, they continue to survive the tragedy their little family endured. Each can certainly be grateful & proud of the each other -& themselves too. Wish them both the very best through this difficult & changing...Read full review »

I really enjoyed this podcast, very honest and the story was well told and narrated. As a mother I don’t know how the parents survive this terrible situation. Ryan tells the story with such compassion and I really enjoyed his perspective.

It started off ok but now it’s getting drawn out. Get to the point already. And I’m getting sick of the brother talking on every episode.it’s basically a podcast about this doofus.

I have been trying to find the episode on Sunday Mel Doyle did but can’t find it anywhere on line or 7 streaming apps etc Do you know where we can watch this...Read full review »

Ryan clearly inherited the dignity and grace his grandfather was known for. This podcast is an excellent production

A lovely portrait of a grandfather, a good man, who was murdered by his grand daughter. A sensitive telling of the story of his family by the brother, and the shattering of the life of his mother. Beautifully told with love and compassion

I want Ryan to have his own podcast; so easy to listen to. Intelligent, profound

Really annoyed that I listened to 4 episodes, only to find that the remaining 3 are subscriber only. Not cool and not doing it.

Quality podcast. I’ve come across the presenters work a bit lately. “Our little Edey” is excellent, too. Great work.

Like I said… slow story telling… lots of tedious details

Great podcast. I listened to all of series 1 in one day since I’m on bed rest! Well put together, my heart breaks for the poor family especially the mother who lost her father

The first episode was great, very well made. It was the perfect mix of story-telling and interviews with the family. Here’s hoping the rest of the episodes will become available without a subscription.
