Your grandmother was a monster
What happened to you and your poor brave sister, and to your mum before you was devastating. I actually felt sick to my stomach but at the same time almost enraged at your seemingly lack of resentment towards your grandmother. She was a sick, sick woman for staying with that monster knowingly. Three generations of women, her own daughter, her grandchildren and close friends, lives ruined by her disgusting silence. It wasn’t the middle ages! This absolutely makes her a monster herself and an accomplice. I will have to stop listening to this now it really doesn’t make sense to me that you can still say you’re sure your grandmother loved you. Your sister died because of her - and because of tour mum leaving you with her sick sick parents. Both of them.

Such a great podcast, and a really important story and topic to spotlight. But I stopped listening 10 minutes into episode 4. The repetition was too much. It didn’t make for good listening unfortunately.

This really moved me. I’ve listened to hundreds of podcasts and I cannot get this one out of my head.
