“Such a sad story…. why did the mum, who had been abused by her stepfather, let her children be around him? Was it because her husband had died and she needed the support? I don’t understand why the mum was so shocked her daughters had been abused, when she had also. Would it really be that hard to believe? So frustrating to listen to that the Mum decided to handle it herself so “the daughters wouldn’t have to live with the shame” instead of going to the police. I really tried to get into it but nothing has happened so far (episode 4) & it feels like it’s not going anywhere or have any interesting information come out. The step grandfather is dead so can no longer be charged. The rapist was invited to the wedding that beggars belief. It’s so hard to listen ti as it was all handled so poorly by the adults :(”
