Brilliant
There are some questions, even in this flat world made smaller by the seemingly omniscient technological overlord known as the Internet, that by all appearances defy logic, convention and/or relevance. They are the questions parents tell their children to ignore, the ones intellectuals, philosophers and the faithful dismiss. Questions become curiosities, curiosities become mysteries, and for years the mysteries endure unanswered. Until now. Starlee Kine, who you might remember on This American Life as the one who wrote a love song with the help of Phil Collins or the kid who never went Disneyland, devotes herself to solving the mysteries no one has the heart or fortitude to tackle. She follows the white rabbit down the hole, meeting interesting characters along the way, until the mystery is solved. Or, is it? Once again, Gimlet produces a masterpiece of a podcast you'll be telling your friends they have to listen and obsessively sharing on every social media platform.Read full review »

I'm holding out for a few more episodes on this one. She has a lisp that is frankly pretty distracting at times and she is trying a bit too hard to be "quirky" but it has enough potential that I will keep listening for now. I would say to give it a try if you are in the fence.Read full review »
