Excellent Potential
I was impressed by the production value of this podcast and I have really enjoyed many of the episodes and subject matter. Nic is a natural, his way behind the mic is very genuine and professional and makes an excellent pairing with the podcast's atmosphere. I have a bit of constructive criticism that I want to pass along as someone who has worked in broadcasting and content creation for media for 7 yearson. The things I'm going to mention might seem petty and small but in all my years in the industry you get to know what formulas work and what don't. I'm sure people will be offended by me saying this but I've heard the very same feedback from all my co-workers who I've recommended this podcast to. Here it is: Bringing guests onto your show with expertise on whatever topic you are discussing is alway an excellent idea and a great way to add some diverse content. However, although your wife seems like a wonderful person, the episodes where you had her on were absolutely discombobulated, amateurish, and just didn't go with the rest of the episodes. Suddenly you go from having a well produced,, well-informed, well-researched and organized podcast to a recording of a couple people just having a casual conversation that barely had anything to do with the topic. It was frankly a bit hard to listen to. For your Michigan dogman episode you could've had an eyewitness come on, or an expert like Linda Godfrey instead. I hope that you are not too offended by these suggestions and you can see that I am coming from a well meaning place. The only reason I bother to give these opinions is because I think you have a great thing here and it can only get better. Lastly Nic, you have a common name so you want to give your whole name when you introduce yourself in the beginning of your show, its the best way to get it out there especially for collaborations or to work on other projects. It also sounds way more professional than just saying "I'm your host, Nic". Keep up the good work!Read full review »

I’ve searched through many paranormal podcasts and this one is definitely my favorite. I really like that he only reads stories, rather than providing commentary. His voice is nice and smooth which makes the podcast easy to listen to. Definitely recommend!
