“If you're like me, you're a fan of both dungeons AND dragons. But, somewhere along the way, plain, old, boring dragons got a little bit stale. These days, Pokemon is the hot new thing, and this show takes a shot of that Pokemon excitement and injects it into the classic D&D game format. If D&D is Dr. Pepper, and Pokemon is cherry flavored syrup, then this show is a cool, refreshing glass of Cherry Dr. Pepper. Ahhh.
Each season follows our heroes on a journey through magical settings, guided by the wise and benevolent DM Greg, who spices up each episode with just a dash of Pokemagic. The show is well recorded and well edited, with music and sound effects that make you feel as if you are there, battling wild duckletts alongside these warriors of Pokefantasy.
My suggestion: light some candles and/or incense, draw yourself a hot bath, turn out the lights, crank your speakers, and immerse yourself in this world of Pokewonder each and every week. The episodes are long enough that you may get a little pruney, but it'll be worth it.
