Came for the Norse, stayed for the giggles
Absolutely brilliant- funny, accessible retellings of stories I love and some I didn't know. As said above I was originally looking for a Norse podcast that wasn't dry as bone, and I found it! Covers a brilliant range of world mythology, and offers interpretations into the occasionally bizarre acts mythological protagonists are prone to. I like to stick it on when I'm painting my nails or doing my hair, something that requires my hands and eyes to be busy but my ears free to listen. I've only listened to a few episodes so far, but as I can't stop binging I'll probably be done quite soon. The Creature of the Week segment is entertaining and informative, and while the main stories are covered quite a lot of obscure-ish ones are dug up as well. Maybe Sigyn will even make a cameo! I genuinely enjoy this podcast and hope you continue to run it:)<3Read full review »

This podcast is a warm and cozy bathrobe of knowledge and dry humor for your ears. The host has a very smooth, well-modulated voice that is perfect for storytelling.
