“I've been listening to other podcasts containing episodes that deal with Mormon history for 5 years now. While I enjoy cheerful banter between co-hosts now and then, sometimes it's just annoying; especially when the subject matter is more fascinating than the personalities delivering it. Bryce is hilarious and highly entertaining, mind you, but his passion and meticulous attention to the subject matter is his main focus. The result is, each episode is an exciting adventure, especially when he brings many characters to life with his vocal interpretations and humorous asides. As Bryce has pointed out, there is a plethora of extant documental evidence to prove that the origins of the Mormon church owe less to divine inspiration and more to the aspirations of a charismatic fraud. One can't help but wonder where Christianity would be today, if more clues had survived. Of the 10 or so podcasts I regularly listen to, Naked Mormonism is the first podcast I've felt compelled to make donations to. It's that excellent. Kudos, Bryce Blankenagle!”Read full review »
