Whole Person Detox
Informative interview with Dr. Deanne Minich, a name new to me in the detox world. Having heard many webinars and read many books on the subject, I was pleased to hear such a balanced approach with the recognition that if you change one part of the mind/body/spirit, other changes—sometimes drastic and necessary—will follow. This being the case, it sounds like Dr. Minich does a great deal in her programs to create a supportive environment where others on the same health promoting journey can provide encouragement and perspective to each other. Her view of food as both “science and spirit” hits both marks for the need for nutritional information as well as an inquiry about one’s relationship with food and how it makes one feel. This podcast is a great introduction to a book and program that sounds as if it thoroughly addresses the needs of the whole person on her journey to health.
