“I love BROCKHAMPTON, they're one of my favorite up and coming artists right now. I was playing at the festival that they canceled on due to the Ameer announcement. I was supposed to be setting up when they were sound checking and I was soooo stoked.
You’re right, maybe Ameer shows some type of remorse in his lyrics for his physically and mentally abusive behavior towards women.
I think if people choose to forgive him, voice a public opinion, or speak about it, even in a podcast, they should state all the information that is publicly online and in ever headline.
You mention the physical and emotional abuse, but what you fail to mention is the sexual abuse and engaging in sexual behavior with minors. Those are things that need to be shared when speaking about Ameer leaving BROCKHAMPTON.
You are encouraging your listener to think about forgiving him when you haven’t even stated the facts. Are you opposed to R. Kelly? Are you opposed Roy Moore?
Then we should be opposed to Ameer Vann too.”Read full review »
