NBC ... Please consider CHRIS MATTHEWS or someone with gumption rather than Brokaw.
Tim Russert was one of a kind as the moderator of this show. With his death, Tom Brokaw appears to be taking over and I think this is a bad idea. Everyone likes Tom Brokaw. He has a great personality and a good voice but he just doesn't have the gumption or ability to ask probing questions, set-ups, follow-ups and to go after answers like Russert did. The show is now fluff compared to what is was before. Tom Brokaw makes Stephanopolis seem like a tiger and I find myself watching "This Week" instead of "Meet the Press." This show needs someone with a good set to take on the politicians. Brokaw seems like he is everyone's buddy, not a probing reporter. "Meet the Press" deserves someone who is not afraid to ruffle feathers but who has the tact and professionalism akin to Russert's. Consider Chris Matthews or someone like him ... PLEASE!!! If you agree and want NBC to consider Chris Matthews or someone with that kind of ability, click "Yes" below. NBC ... do not let this show go downhill. Valuable time and viewers have already been lost. Hurry.Read full review »
