Yep, this is the place if you want to hear what big government and big business have to say. You'll never hear anything really controversial here, especially since Tim Russert, the host for 17 years, died last year. He occasionally asked a hard question. David Gregory, the king of the softball, will never surprise or upset you or anyone else. This is the kind of newcast cheerleading that lied us into Iraq. Big thumbs down from me. I give MEET THE PRESS two stars in hope that it will improve. It really rates lower than the scale allows, but MEET THE PRESS has potential if it will start adhering to some kind of journalistic standards in favor of the public and the public's right to know the truth about what's going on. MEET THE PRESS should start asking some tough questions and stop brown-nosing.Read full review »
