"La fille du régiment", Donizetti’s light-hearted and humorous story, features a fabulous cast that combines the talents of Western and Chinese artists. Sabina Puértolas stars in the lead role as Marie, with Giovanni Romeo as Sulpice, SHI Yijie as Tonio, WANG Hexiang as Hortensius, and ZHAO Denghui as Un Caporal, under the baton of chief conductor LÜ Jia.

This beautiful opera celebrates the ups and downs of life on the canal, full of joy and sorrow, life and death, righteousness and evil—all sung in a virtuosic and stunning style under the baton of chief conductor LÜ Jia.

Wagner’s audience-favorite "Tannhäuser" stars Endrik Wottrich stars as Tannhäuser, with Barbara Haveman as Elizabeth, Giuseppina Piunti as Venus, Markus Werba as Wolfram, under the baton of chief conductor LÜ Jia.

Donizetti’s fabulous "L’Elisir D’Amore" stars Serena Gamberoni in the role of Adina alongside Francesco Meli as Nemorino, LIU Songhu as Belcore, Enzo Capuano as Dr. Dulcamara, and MA Min as Ganeta. Pier Giorgio Morandi conducts.

Giuseppe Verdi’s "Falstaff" features Roberto de Candia in the title role, with Rachele Stanisci as Alice, Filippo Polinelli as Ford, and more. Renato Palumbo conducts.

Donizetti’s "Don Pasquale" stars Bruno Pratico in the title role, with Ekaterina Bakanova as Noria, SHI Yijie as Ernesto, and more. Daniele Callegari conducts.

The second set of NCPA productions begins with Gounod’s "Roméo et Juliette" with Mélissa Petit and Francesco Demuro in the title roles. Patrick Fournillier conducts.

For the final opera in this first set of NCPA productions, we’re excited to present a Mandarin-language work by Chinese composer HAO Weiya titled "A Village Teacher". ZHANG Yi conducts.

This stunning production of "The Merry Widow" by Franz Lehár features SONG Yuanming as Hanna Glawari, with Thomas Laske as Count Danilo, Sarah Zhai Strauss as Valencienne, and SHI Yijie as Camille de Rosillon. Thomas Rösner conducts.

Antonín Dvořák’s fantastical "Rusalka" features a stunning cast of artists that includes ZHOU Xiaolin in the titular role with Ladislav Elgr as the Prince, with GUO Yanyu (Jezibaba), KE Luwa (Foreign Princess), and more. Rastislav Stur conducts.

The NCPA production of Bizet’s impeccable "Les pêcheurs de perles" ("The Pearl Fishers") stars soprano Olga Peretyatko in the role of Leila alongside Francesco Demuro as Nadir, Alfredo Daza as Zurga, and Paul Gay as Nourabad. Donato Renzetti conducts.
