“I find it interesting, perhaps even an example of ' Divine Intervention', me being drawn to the teachings of Nehemiah Gordon.
His enthusiatic & charismatic style of teaching, combined with his undenyable love for the Creator, YHVH, prove to be the perfect combination to keep you on the edge of your seat during his many long lectures that seem to just "fly by".
My insatiable desire YHVH's truth and His will for our lives is indulged over and over again as I study with His servant, Nehemiah.
Blessings upon him and his for his love and devotion as well as his willingness to serve so selflessly.
After so many years of his insight, his ability to define things accurately thru knowing the ancient Hebrew origins of the words, and the cultural meanings as well, have proven invauable to me, my family and our congregation.
Nehemia's teachings have become such an intragual part of our Shabbat that the absence of them would truly be an undescribable void, both spirtually and personally.
I had the great honor to meet Professor Gordon recently when he graced our small community with his presence and teachings here in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. His audiance was small, yet he treated each of us as if this is exactly what was expected and we were the center of his purpose that night. I am sure I speak for all when I say we were truly blessed having him come.
I actually felt a little guilty, because I had so many questions saved up for him, I felt I was consuming too much of his time and not allowing others to get their questions answered...lol
Nehemia always has and still does get 5 STARS from me.
